People across the nation have come to know me as a Healer, Teaching Artist, and Entrepreneur. Over the years I have acquired my M.A., M.B.A, and a Governor’s Award for poetry. As the president and artistic director of Oral Funk Poetry Productions, I have spent great energy and time in cultivating a platform for urban creative arts. For more than a decade, Ohio has benefited from my vision of creative urban arts as a powerful artistic medium to bring communities together across racial, cultural, ideological, and economic divides. I have worked with youth arts organizations, schools, community organizations, and regional businesses through my company’s educational arm, Signature Educational Solutions. Alongside OFP and SES, I spend my time directly impacting and empowering women daily through another self-started organization, I Am Moon Power, which dedicates itself to uplifting and healing the feminine energy of women across every culture. Through it all I have preserved a sense of insight, healing, and creativity with the help of my sage sprays. I am beyond excited to begin this new journey with Acacia Health and Wellness, so that I may share my powers of healing with all who may need it.

After Obtaining my B.S. degree in Special Ed, I taught for 9 years and worked with youth in corrections, treatment, and chemical dependency for 12 years. My M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction has led me to over 10 years of experience as a trained facilitator.
